ATKO International was registered a commercial company in Athens in May 1983 for the marketing of corrugated steel culvert, guardrail , gabion, expansion joint and bridge bearing in mainly Africa and the Middle East .
In March 1998 ATKO formalized it's business relationship with HSC by signing a Distributorship Agreement for the marketing of their Wabo Bridge bearings and expansion joints range of products in Lebanon .
In January 2001 HSC became a part of MBT and since January 2002 MBT became a part of Degussa and ATKO have continued to market WABO range of products.
